Apparently, the only offended Christians that the Sun could find to express their offense at the Jesus-plus-Phallus were Christian Voice, who in most circles - including pretty much every other Christian organisation in the UK - are regarded as batshit crazy. Christian Voice refuse to say how many members they have. They appear to mainly be Stephen Green, who's the only member ever mentioned or quoted.

The Christian Voice website is good for a laugh, if only because it's indistinguishable from a parody. At the moment they have a counter displaying "Time which billionaire Jewish art collector (and friend of the Chief Rabbi) Anita Zabludowicz has had to destroy her blasphemous, pornographic statue of Jesus Christ with a phallus attached, since getting it back from the Baltic Centre in Gateshead at 6.00pm on Saturday 20th January 2008."

Oh, dear. Perhaps I should've read that article a little more closely! However, thank you for noting that Christian Voice is a collection (perhaps of one) of rabid, insane, most-certainly-not-mainstream Christians. It would seem that the majority of Muslims in First World countries (that is, the EU and the US, along with the various small Muslim states that were once part of the USSR) are taking this controversy with a grain of salt--expressing their opinions, sure, but in a measured, dare I say appropriate manner. Only the insane ultra-right-wind nationalists and Muslim evangelicals are flipping their wigs over this.

It's just unfortunate that, in certain parts of the world, they are the majority.

well, anyway i just want to say the, i really enjoy in these pictures or cartoon, i mean all of the Arabian countries are seeing that they are the leader or may be the want to control the world in future with their stupid shouting , i encourage who drew that, and i say i love him, and really, even if what they will do, dont be scared, coz jesus with you.
